Bogus Door to Door Sellers

Hello all,

We have had reports of Door to Door sellers in your area.

If you do have Door to Door sellers, they should have relevant ID with them and paperwork by the Local Council showing permission to knock on doors. 

If they cannot show any of this, it is likely that they are not legally trading. Should this happen, please either report online or call 101.

Should they show any aggression, make threats, refuse to leave etc…. Then please call 999.

We will look to attend, gain details, move them on and in more serious incidents arrest if necessary.

Please be aware that Criminals may use this as an opportunity to case properties, to conduct further criminality. If Door to Door sellers have been in the area, please ensure your properties are secured and doors locked and any suspicious activity to call the Police.
